A-level Results 2021

Congratulations to our 2019 Cohort who have been back at HWSF this morning to collect their results and bid farewell to their friends and teachers before heading off to 48 different universities in the autumn.

This cohort of students joined our sixth form in September 2019, just a few months before the Covid-19 hit the UK. None of us could have predicted the challenges that would follow – not just the uncertainty about exams, but also a quarter of face-to-face teaching time lost to national lockdowns, as well as other periods of self-isolation at home due to close contact with confirmed cases.

But nevertheless, this cohort truly embodied our motto of “Ambition, Perseverance, Legacy”, staying focused on  their studies and supporting each other and their families through the challenges of the pandemic. We have 28 students heading to Oxford and Cambridge, seven to LSE and four to Imperial. 23 of our students are going to medical school and 18 will be studying Maths or Computer Science. Others are going onto courses as diverse as Music at a Conservatoire, Persian and Middle Eastern Studies; and Mechanical Engineering.

A huge well done to all our students – we know you are going to thrive in your next steps and cannot wait to see what you go on to achieve!

Update 11/08/2021 - Shakir Kasoma’s success is typical of Harris Westminster students but sufficiently atypical nationally to be reported in the Times. Congratulations to Shakir and all the Year 13s.
