We are delighted to have been selected as The Sunday Times 'Sixth Form College of the Year':
The article outlining this award can be found here and here
We are incredibly proud to receive this accolade which recognises the hard work and commitment of our teachers and support staff in their efforts to ensure that an outstanding education is available to students from all backgrounds.
And, as if ‘Sixth Form College of the Year’ wasn’t enough, we can add our award-winning Principal into the celebrations! Mr James Handscombe, Principal at Harris Westminster, was presented with the 'aspire Teacher Award' at the Student Social Mobility Awards during Wednesday night's event at the House of Lords.
The Award recognises the teacher who has made an outstanding contribution to the success of sixth formers from less advantaged backgrounds and James was nominated by one of our Alumni. We are delighted for James and that he has been recognised for his fantastic work at Harris Westminster.
