The Senate is a group of students who act as the official representatives of both the student body and the school. They demonstrate how Harris Westminster practices and policies support student success. It is made up of a President, 2 Vice Presidents, 4 House Captains and 4 or 5 Senators (to make a total of 10 or 11) who together are representative of the school community.

Previous contributions made by Senate towards the sixth form include fundraising for and installing lockers, Funky Fridays, greeting students in the morning, making changes to reporting well-being concerns, and regularly asking questions of senior team to improve the running of the school.
